- Maintain and promptly update your account credentials for ongoing security

- Keep your login credentials, passwords, and PINs strictly confidential
- Immediately notify us of any unauthorized account access or breach of security
- Accept full responsibility for all activities occurring under your credentials

Your Security Responsibilities You are responsible for restricting physical and digital access to devices running BiznessBook POS, logging out after shared sessions, and promptly notifying support if any credentials are compromised.

Subscription, Billing & Refunds
Pricing and Billing Structure
- Flexible Plans: Available in weekly, monthly, or annual subscription cycles.
- Weekly Flexibility: Simple weekly billing with zero long-term commitments or termination penalties.
- Upfront Billing: Subscriptions are billed at the commencement of each designated billing cycle.
- Automatic Renewal: Plans renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the renewal timestamp.
- Price Transparency: Any price adjustment is communicated at least 30 days in advance.
Payment Methods
We accept recognized payment channels including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and regional mobile money operators.

Cancellation & Refund Policy Cancel Anytime: You can cancel your subscription inside account settings with a single click. Your access will remain active until the end of the paid billing period.
No Hidden Fees: Because our weekly billing has a minimal time commitment, we do not issue prorated refunds for partial periods. You have total freedom to stop at the end of any week.

User Content & Data Ownership
You Own Your Data
You retain 100% ownership and intellectual property rights over all customer records, inventory databases, transaction ledgers, receipts, and files uploaded to BiznessBook ("User Content"). We never sell your business data to third parties.
Operational License
To deliver the service, you grant BiznessBook a secure, non-exclusive license solely to:
- Store, index, and synchronize your data between your devices and our secure cloud infrastructure
- Generate encrypted backups to safeguard against device loss or data corruption
- Compute aggregated business calculations, profit reports, and automated alert triggers requested by you

Acceptable Use Policy
To preserve platform integrity, safety, and compliance, you agree NOT to:
Prohibited Unlawful Activities
Facilitate fraudulent schemes, illegal merchandise, money laundering, or sanctions evasion.
Prohibited Security Compromise
Probe vulnerability points, deploy malware, or attempt unauthorized penetration testing.
Prohibited Reverse Engineering
Decompile, disassemble, extract source code, or mirror proprietary system architecture.
Prohibited Data Scraping & Abuse
Use automated bots, scrapers, or excessive requests designed to disrupt cloud availability.

Intellectual Property Rights
All rights, title, and interest in the BiznessBook platformโincluding our code, user interfaces, branding, visual designs, algorithms, trademarks, and documentationโare the exclusive property of BiznessBook.
Subject to your subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the software applications on your designated business hardware.

Third-Party Integrations
BiznessBook may integrate with external providers such as payment gateways, SMS notification delivery networks, and cloud storage providers. Your engagement with external tools is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

Third-Party Notice We work with enterprise-grade partners (such as Stripe and Google Cloud), but BiznessBook is not liable for third-party network outages outside our reasonable operational control.

Warranty Disclaimer AS-IS AND AS-AVAILABLE SERVICE
BiznessBook is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without representations or warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular business purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.
While BiznessBook provides powerful tools to assist bookkeeping and inventory tracking, you remain solely responsible for validating tax filings, financial records, and regulatory compliance applicable to your industry.

Limitation of Liability
Liability Cap MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BiznessBook and its officers, employees, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, punitive, or special damages, including lost profits, business interruption, lost data, or equipment downtime. Our total aggregate liability under these terms shall not exceed the fees paid by you to BiznessBook in the twelve (12) months preceding the incident, or $100 USD (whichever is greater).

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BiznessBook, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or legal expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, unauthorized access to your account, or business transactions conducted between you and your customers.

Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to revise these Terms to reflect product updates, legislative changes, or operational necessities. When changes are made:
- We will update the "Last Updated" timestamp at the top of this document
- For material changes, notice will be provided via email or in-app notification at least 30 days prior
- Continued use of BiznessBook after effective modifications constitutes full acceptance of the updated terms

Term & Termination
Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time via your subscription settings. Your access continues until the conclusion of your active billing period.
Termination by BiznessBook
We may suspend or terminate account access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to remediate failed subscription payments, or engage in activity that endangers system integrity.
Data Export Window
We strongly recommend exporting your inventory, customers, and sales data before closing an account. We maintain an export grace period of 30 days post-cancellation, after which data may be queued for secure deletion.

Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
Arbitration Agreement BINDING ARBITRATION & CLASS ACTION WAIVER
Except for qualifying small claims actions or claims regarding intellectual property, all disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be settled through confidential, binding individual arbitration administered by recognized commercial arbitration rules. You agree that disputes will be resolved solely on an individual basis without recourse to class actions or collective proceedings.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and any non-arbitrable disputes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without giving effect to conflict-of-law principles.

General Legal Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the full agreement between you and BiznessBook.
- Severability: If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue with full legal force.
- No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it subsequently.
- Assignment: You may not transfer or assign your account rights without written consent. We may assign rights to an affiliate or successor.
